The humor and jokes in this episode are pretty freaking great and its really funny to see a regularly kids cartoon have a episode about killing a health inspector and trying to bury his body. This is the lesser of the two to many people, however this is my personal favorite. This is by far my favorite episode of the entire show. I do not want to reveal anymore as to destroy the marvelous experience you are bound to have when you see this unparalleled masterpiece. Truly this is the closest we have come to a legendary classic and gripping thriller since, dare I say Citizen Kane. Of course the strong performance of Spongebob's foil Squidward Tentacles by Roger Bumpass is only describable as phenomenal. And Tom Kenny makes you feel the pain of his lost limbs. When he is under the attack of the Avalanche you feel as you are there and if you close your eyes you can feel your legs go numb. This edgy performance and dramatic voicing draws you in like a fish is drawn to water. Bill Faberbakke is comparable to Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecture or De Niro in Cab driver. In this episode we see the finest acting and directing too. In this incredibly intelligent and thoughtful episode we see writing that can only be compared to that of the greats like Shakespeare, Virgil, Dante, Dostoyevsky and Homer. Though the Nasty Patty is a great episode the best Spongebob episode is by far the Idiot Box.
